Agarwal (1920-1982) was the founder of the Group & was a great philanthropist and humanitarian. The Bhoruka Group houses the first Company in the private sector to successfully set up a hydro power station in the post-independence era and has also founded companies in various sectors such as Steel (Engineering & Stevedoring), Industrial Gases, I.T. Parks, Education, Community Welfare and allied activities. It is a medium size group based in Bangalore –India.
Mr.S.N.Agarwal is the Chairman of the Group. He is a graduate engineer from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra and an Alumnus of Harvard Business School (AMP- 1985) & has been the Chairman of various National Committees of FICCI on Power, Non-conventional energy, Logistics etc.
Bhuruka Gases Limited, established in 1974, is a manufacturer, importer & exporter of specialty & rare, industrial and liquid gas products. It is the first company to go in for NABL accreditation i.e. ISO-IEC 17025 in India. It is a SAP-R3 environment company.
